Being a visual learner, I'm trying to figure out how the different ID models fit into the ISD concept. Are the models methods of delivery or processes that are used to create the instruction? If I had to draw out a diagram, I think it would look like this:
So basically, the different models are all possible approaches to creating the training?
It was brought up in class that not all trainings will involve technology. This threw me for a minute because I assumed that's what this career was all about. But it makes sense that not all situations will require the use of ipads, smartphones, or computers. We design instruction, not technology.
